The company was started in 1961 by Nestor J Vicknair Jr., managed at the beginning by himself and his wife Shirley and one employee for several years. He started the company as the first wholesale flooring distributor in Baton Rouge distributing Robbins solid vinyl tile. Then after a few years we received the distributorship for Azrock tile line and carried the line for 35 years. During the late 60's and early 70's the company added carpet and flooring installation supplies. The company added sheet vinyl and wood flooring in the 80's.
